Delete your Gramms account
This page is for Gramms: AI Bedtime Stories on iPhone. You can permanently delete your account and all data tied to it at any time, from inside the app, or by writing to us without reinstalling it.
Option 1: Delete in the app (instant)
- Open Gramms and go to Settings.
- Tap Close your account, at the bottom.
- The app tells you exactly what will go. Confirm on the last step and it happens right away.
Option 2: Request deletion by email (no app needed)
Email support@getsmartcue.com with the subject “Account deletion request” from the email address you used to sign up (so we can verify it’s you). We will confirm and complete the deletion within 30 days, usually much sooner.
What gets deleted
- Your account, including the email address Apple gave us
- All child profiles (names, ages, preferences)
- All stories, and the audio and cover pictures made for them: the records go immediately, and the files themselves are removed in the clean-up described in our Privacy Policy
- All family voice recordings AND the voices created from them: each voice is destroyed at our voice partner (Cartesia) and confirmed destroyed before the account itself is removed. If a step cannot be completed, the app stops and says so, rather than reporting a deletion that did not happen; trying again picks up where it left off.
- The app-health events recorded for your account, including those recorded before you signed in
What may be retained
If you used requested story-ready updates, an anonymous pilot admission count remains. Unlinked device safety records also remain after registration removal to prevent delayed sign-ins from reclaiming a device. They contain no raw delivery token or account or household link, but are not anonymous. Regular cleanup removes them after more than 30 days of inactivity when no registration remains, as described in our Privacy Policy.
Records we are legally required to keep, such as purchase records held by Apple and by us as the seller. Active subscriptions are NOT cancelled by deleting your account: cancel them in your Apple Account subscription settings to stop billing.
